Street Rods 'In the Works'

Lockit Tools is located in Bellingham, Washington, which is also home to Pyramid Street Rods, builders of world class high performance cars. John Barbero, owner of Pyramid Street Rods, has been building show winning cars for over 30 years. His insistence that every car that leaves the shop is totally streetable insures that there's more fun to be had with these cars than just looking at them.
Pyramid customers hail from all over the place, and they come to the shop with a variety of concepts in mind. At present, Pyramid customers from New, Orleans, Southern California and Canada have projects underway. One of the cars currently under construction belongs to Gary Beck, who many will recognize as a past NHRA Top Fuel Dragster champ. That may help to explain the blown/injected Hemi that's on the way for his '32 Ford Roadster.
John has very graciously agreed to display the construction progress of the projects he's doing here on the Lockit Socket website. We're starting with a very basic presentation, and hoping to add and improve as we go. The plan is to update quite regularly, so those of you who are interested can follow each vehicle to completion. Along the way, we may get lucky enough to sneak some photos of John, Steve, and Wilson at work, and meet some of the other characters that show up at the shop. As time allows, we will be adding a gallery of completed Pyramid cars, some of which have been on the street collecting bugs for many years.
Well, here we go! Let us know if you enjoy this feature, as we have little or no interest in any negative input (just kidding, we would like to have your suggestions).
